St John Ambulance in Western Australia recognises that the people we deal with are concerned with their privacy and understand it is important they know how we deal with their personal information. Ambulance Officers in performing their duties will collect personal and health information about each patient so that adequate records of the treatment provided are maintained. It is not always possible to obtain consent from each patient to collect this information, as it depends on the medical condition of the patient at the time of collection. The information collected will be used for accountability purposes and will also be used to recover outstanding debts.
We will not collect other personal information about you except where you knowingly provide it to us through our web site (e.g. booking courses or purchasing products online) or through some other means (e.g. in person, through the mail or over the telephone).
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
St John Ambulance WA will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent unless legally required to do so. We will take all reasonable steps to -
