Employment Sponsorship
Employment sponsorship and the visa process will commence once a candidate is successful through the recruitment process. St John Ambulance will pay for the administration and application of the 457 visa.
Fees incurred from further requirements of the visa process, including the medical and X-rays, driver’s licence conversion or tests, police clearances, document translation (if not in English) and certification and any other costs associated with the relocation, are the candidates responsibility.
General Requirements
To be considered for a position as qualified paramedic you’ll need to have previous training and working experience in emergency ambulance operations.
Salary and Benefits
Rates of pay for Paramedics are as follows:

Ordinary hours of work vary from 42 to 44 hours with eight weeks leave per annum.
